Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure safe working practices.
  • Lead and support the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring thorough reporting and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Provide health and safety training and induction programs for employees and subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate records of health and safety activities, including risk assessments, safety reports, and training documentation.
  • Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and employees to promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with health and safety legislation and best practices specific to the Pharma, M&E, or Oil and Gas industries.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification in Health & Safety or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Health & Safety Officer in the Pharma, M&E, or Oil and Gas industries.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices within the relevant sectors.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Package:
  • Competitive salary of €55,000 - €65,000 per annum.
