Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure safe working practices.
Lead and support the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring thorough reporting and implementation of corrective actions.
Provide health and safety training and induction programs for employees and subcontractors.
Maintain accurate records of health and safety activities, including risk assessments, safety reports, and training documentation.
Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and employees to promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.
Stay current with health and safety legislation and best practices specific to the Pharma, M&E, or Oil and Gas industries.
Requirements:
Relevant qualification in Health & Safety or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Health & Safety Officer in the Pharma, M&E, or Oil and Gas industries.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices within the relevant sectors.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Package:
Competitive salary of €55,000 - €65,000 per annum.
