ProSource are delighted to be working with an international accountancy firm seeking an experienced accountant to take a leading role in their new Irish Practice.

My client is a are a dynamic and growing accountancy group setting up a new office in, Ireland. The firm specialises in providing comprehensive accounting services to a diverse range of clients, including SME businesses, startups, and individuals.   They have a commitment to excellence and personalised service, striving to exceed clients' expectations while fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment for our team members.

My client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in accounting or finance, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take their accounting career to the next stage.
Responsibilities:
  1. Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports for clients.
  2. Perform bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining accurate financial records.
  3. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of client deliverables.
  4. Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, address inquiries, and provide exceptional service.
  5. Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations, tax laws, and industry trends to ensure compliance and provide valuable insights to clients.
  6. Grow the firms footprint in Ireland.
  7. Contribute to process improvements and efficiencies within the firm's accounting operations.
  8. Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. Accounting Qualification e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA.
  3. Proven track record in an accountancy practice ideally within Ireland.
  4. Knowledge/ experience of dealing with construction companies operating in Ireland/ UK.
  5. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  6. Proficiency in accounting software e.g. Xero, Dext, Surf accounts production and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  8. Ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  10. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  11. Strong leadership skills.
