Environmental Manager

Environmental Manager wanted for leading Civils Contractor on long term project in Roscommon. As the Environmental Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing environmental management strategies and ensuring compliance with regulations. Reporting to senior management, you'll play a pivotal role in promoting sustainable practices across our operations.
 
Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement environmental management plans, policies, and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Conduct environmental assessments and audits to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and standards, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate environmental considerations into planning and execution, promoting sustainable practices.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on environmental practices, waste management, and pollution prevention.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and local communities to address environmental concerns and maintain positive relationships.
• Manage environmental reporting requirements, preparing accurate documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of operations, such as energy efficiency programs and waste reduction strategies.

 
Package:
