Employment Tax Senior Manager - Dublin

My client is an international Accountancy Group, they seek an Employment Tax Senior Manager to join the team in Dublin.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Engage directly with employers and executives on complex employment tax matters, including compliance, PAYE audits, workforce reduction programs, and international assignments.
  • Provide expert advice on tax-efficient compensation strategies.
  • Support clients during Revenue PAYE audits, including conducting pre-audit reviews and negotiating with Revenue authorities.
  • Advise clients on PAYE withholding obligations related to remuneration, benefits in kind, expenses, share remuneration, and termination payments.
  • Offer guidance on residency and taxation issues for employees entering or leaving Ireland.
  • Foster proactive relationships with other departments within the firm to enhance service delivery.
  • Champion the integration of innovative technologies into daily operations to provide cost-effective and efficient solutions for clients.
  • Play a key role in mentoring junior staff and supporting senior staff in promoting learning and development initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
  • AITI or CTA qualified with a minimum of 6 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong technical expertise in Employment and Expatriate Taxes.
  • Proven ability to identify potential tax issues and develop effective solutions through analytical and critical thinking.
  • High attention to detail, consistently delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals, collaborating with other departments, and providing clear guidance to team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and responsibility for tasks.
  • Effective delegation skills, including providing clear instructions and support to trainees.
