Electrical Engineer

ProSource are recruiting an Electrical Engineer position on behalf of a leading M&E Contractor who are continuing to grow with an extensive amount of ongoing projects in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with coordinating electrical installations on commercial, industrial and large-scale projects.
• Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants to support the smooth delivery of projects.
• Monitor site electrical works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and relevant standards.
• Support project planning, procurement, scheduling and resource coordination.
• Review electrical drawings and technical documentation, raising RFIs where required.
• Attend site meetings and assist with progress updates and technical queries.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover of electrical installations.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• 1 - 3  years’ experience within an electrical contracting, MEP or construction environment.
• Some experience working on site and coordinating electrical works.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Full Irish Driving Licence.
