EHS Advisor

ProSource are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Advisor on behalf of our client who are Tier 1 Mian Building Contractor to ensure the highest standards of safety, health, and environmental protection across our construction projects.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to;

• Monitor and enforce compliance with local, state, safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and hazard identification to prevent accidents, injuries, and incidents on construction sites.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and subcontractors, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
• Lead investigations into accidents, near misses, and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures, coordinating drills and exercises to ensure readiness.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential safety hazards and violations, and work with project teams to implement corrective measures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety inspections, incidents, training, and safety-related documents.
• Promote a strong safety culture among all project stakeholders by fostering awareness, communication, and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including waste management, pollution prevention, and sustainable practices.

To be successful in your application you will possess the following;

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field. 
• 5+ years experience. 
• Ideally Pharma/industrial/DC previous projects
• Proven experience as an EHS Advisor in the construction industry, with a strong track record of promoting safety and environmental compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for delivering training, conducting investigations, and preparing reports.
