Bridge Design Engineer

ProSource Group are seeking a Bridge Design Engineer on behalf of a leading multidisciplinary engineering firm in Dublin. The company provides a wide range of services including Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and more.
  
€45,000 - €55,000 + package on offer.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Bridge Analysis and Design: Perform bridge analysis and design for a wide range of bridge projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Design Development: Collaborate with project teams to develop and refine bridge designs, incorporating client requirements and architectural concepts.
• Technical Expertise: Apply engineering principles and best practices to create cost-effective and innovative bridge solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain a high level of quality control, reviewing design calculations and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and effective communication of design concepts.
• Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design reports, drawings, and specifications for use by project teams and clients.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in bridge engineering.

To be successful in your application you will possess the following:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) with a recognised professional engineering institution.
• Proven experience in bridge design for construction projects, preferably within the Irish construction industry.
• Proficiency in bridge design software and familiarity with relevant design codes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
