ProSource are recruiting a M&E AutoCAD Technician to be based in Bray on behalf of one of Irelands largest and most reputable M&E companies. This is a great opportunity to work on some large, long-term turnkey projects and to develop your career further.
  
Role: As an M&E AutoCAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of mechanical and electrical systems for various projects. Utilising your expertise in AutoCAD software, you will create detailed drawings, schematics, and plans that adhere to industry standards and client specifications. Working closely with our engineering team, you will contribute to the successful execution of projects from conception to completion
  
Responsibilities:
  • Produce accurate and detailed drawings using AutoCAD software, including mechanical and electrical layouts, schematics, and plans.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical drawings. 
  • Ensure that drawings comply with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Conduct clash detection analysis and provide solutions to optimise coordination between various disciplines.
  • Revise and update drawings as necessary based on feedback from stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized documentation of drawings and project files
  • Support the project team by providing technical assistance and solutions as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Design
  • CAD Certified
  • Previous experience as a CAD Technician 
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices related to CAD implementation.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Package:
  • €40,000 - €45,000 DOE.
