Our Client is a well established Accountancy Practice based in South Dublin and they are seeking a Qualified Audit & Accounts Manager to join the team.
  
This is a two Partner Firm, that undertakes Auditing, Accounting and Taxation Services.
  
Your Responsibilities will include:
  
Auditing:
  • Plan, manage, and review statutory audits for SME clients under ISAs (Ireland).
  • Prepare and review audit planning and completion documentation.
  • Ensure audit files meet regulatory, ethical, and internal quality standards.
  • Act as the main audit contact for assigned clients.
  • Support partners with audit quality control and inspection readiness.
  
Accounts & Financial Reporting
  • Review and, where required, prepare statutory financial statements under FRS 102 / FRS 102 1A.
  • Oversee year‑end accounts and trial balance finalisation.
  • Resolve audit and accounts crossover issues efficiently.
  • Ensure consistency across bookkeeping records, accounts, and audit outputs.
  
Taxation
  • Working knowledge of the Irish Taxation System, specifically CT, Income Tax, VAT, VIES and the PAYE.
  
Practice & Team Support
  • Collaborate with whole team.
  • Assist partners and Senior staff with workflow management and deadline control.
  • Coach junior staff and provide on‑the‑job technical guidance.
  • Contribute to improving templates, checklists, and internal procedures.
  • Involvement with the appraisal, selection and implementation of new AI driven software applications.
  
Client Interaction
  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Communicate audit and year end findings and practical recommendations clearly and assisting with follow up.
  • Support partners in client meetings and advisory discussions.
  
Essential Requirements
  • ACA / ACCA / CPA qualified.
  • Minimum 4–6 years’ post‑qualification experience in practice.
  • Strong SME audit and accounting background in Irish practice.
  • Proven experience with FRS 102 and Companies Act 2014.
  • Comfortable working in a small firm, hands‑on team environment.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to planning, improvement and Continuing Professional Development.
