Associate Director - Corporate Finance Deal Advisory (Sandyford)

ProSource is delighted to be partnered with a top Firm based in South Dublin (Sandyford) who are seeking an Associate Director to join the team. 

This role will see you work in their Corporate Finance – Deal Advisory team.  Where you will lead the execution of M&A transactions, originate new business opportunities, and provide strategic advice to clients on deals and capital structures. You will manage client relationships, supervise junior team members, and work closely with partners to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, including buy-side and sell-side mandates, management buyouts (MBOs), and fundraising.
• Oversee financial modelling, valuation analysis (DCF, precedent transactions, comparables), and preparation of pitch materials and information memoranda.
• Provide strategic input on deal structuring, financing options, and negotiation support.
• Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to business owners, CEOs, CFOs, and investors.
• Contribute to business development activities, including proposal writing, networking, and identifying new deal opportunities.
• Mentor and develop junior staff, providing technical guidance and support on live mandates.
• Collaborate with tax, legal, and other advisory teams to deliver integrated client solutions.

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, CTA, CFA, or similar professional qualification.
• 7+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, transaction services, or a similar advisory role.
• Proven track record of leading M&A transactions from start to finish.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation ability, and stakeholder management.
• Confident communicator with strong report writing and presentation skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ambition to grow a leading mid-market advisory practice.
• Experience working with SMEs, private equity, or family-owned businesses.
• Exposure to cross-border transactions.
• Sectoral expertise (e.g. healthcare, tech, consumer, manufacturing) a plus.
