My client are a leading specialist subcontractor in Monaghan, dedicated to providing high-quality structural steel solutions to their clients. They take pride in delivering projects to the highest standards. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Operations Manager to join their closely knit team.
€35,000 - €40,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and coordinating operational activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task assignments.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of operational processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Support the implementation and enforcement of company policies and procedures to maintain compliance and operational excellence.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as preparing reports, maintaining records, and managing budgets.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless execution of structural steel projects, from planning through to completion.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to address inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist the Estimating team at times to help with pricing to gain a wider understanding and exposure to the business
  
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the construction or subcontracting industry would be preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
