  • About the Role: 

    As an Senior Architectural Technologist, you will play a key role in delivering intricate detail designs for various architectural projects. Using your technical skills and construction knowledge, you will ensure compliance with the latest statutory and building regulations, transforming our visionary designs into reality.

    Job Responsibilities:
    • Detail Design Creation: Focus on the detailed aspects of architectural projects, ensuring regulatory compliance while incorporating creativity and innovation.
    • Project Management: Oversee the daily management of assigned projects, working closely with our team of skilled Architects to achieve success and surpass client expectations.
    • Collaboration: Lead and participate in meetings with clients, design teams, contractors, and specialists, fostering meaningful relationships and encouraging collaborative excellence.
    • Streamlined Coordination: Ensure smooth coordination within the Design Team, facilitating seamless information flow from project inception to completion.
    • Compliance Champion: Advocate for adherence to client briefs, Irish planning, building, and health & safety regulations, ensuring high-quality and safe project outcomes.
    • On-Site Visits: Conduct site visits and thorough inspections, actively engaging in the hands-on implementation of our designs to ensure flawless execution.
    The ideal candidate will have: 
    • Educational Background: A degree or diploma in Architectural Technology
    • Professional Experience: At least 10 years of post-qualification experience, with a strong understanding of Irish Building Regulations. Registration with bodies such as RIAI, CIAT, CIOB is a plus
    • Architectural Expertise: Experience in preparing statutory consent applications, detailed design, tender, and construction documentation.
    • Attention to Detail: Strong visual skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring meticulous project design.
    • Initiative and Proactivity: A proactive approach and inherent drive that inspires excellence in every task.
    • Regulatory Knowledge: Excellent understanding and experience with Irish planning, building regulations, building control, and health & safety legislation.
    • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; knowledge of Revit and interest in design innovation areas like modular construction and prefabricated systems are desirable.
    • Communication and Organisational Skills: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, along with good organizational and time management abilities.
    • Site Experience and Mobility: Previous site experience is advantageous. A valid driver’s license and access to a car are essential for attending site visits.
