Accounting Technician

My client is a reputable, established Accountancy practice based in Galway. They seek a qualified Accounting Technician to join their growing team. 

This exciting opportunity will see you report into the Partners and deliver excellence in Customer Service. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of accounts and working paper files for non-audit, sole traders and partnerships;
• Preparation of income tax and corporation tax returns for partner and manager review;
• Companies Registration Office filings for partner and manager review;
• Work with support staff to ensure delivery of services to customers on time;
• Ability to deal with client and revenue queries.
• Adhoc responsibilities as required.
• Ability to reconcile and post accounts up to trial balance stage

You will have the following skills / experience:

1. Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a small to medium practice is essential;
2. Demonstrate commercial awareness and good business acumen;
3. Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication skill;
4. Organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines;
5. Ability to work in a team environment and support team colleagues;
6. Initiative.
7. ATI qualified or Part Qualified Accountant is desirable.
