hands-on project delivery, strong coordination, and a commitment to quality, schedule, and cost control.
Role Overview The Superintendent will be responsible for the
day-to-day on-site management of interior construction projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution. This role requires a
hands-on leader who can coordinate trades, manage schedules, and drive projects to successful completion in fast-paced NYC environments.
Key Responsibilities - Oversee all field operations from mobilization through project close-out
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site logistics to maintain workflow
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Manage project sequencing and maintain overall site organization
- Develop and manage short-term lookahead schedules (2–4 week)
- Drive progress in line with master schedule milestones
- Identify and proactively resolve delays or sequencing conflicts
Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in construction, with a focus on interiors / fit-out projects
- Experience working with a general contractor in NYC
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, drawings, and field coordination
- Proven ability to manage multiple trades in occupied or high-end environments
- Knowledge of NYC building codes, safety regulations, and site logistics
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
