Superintendent (Commercial Interiors)

Role Overview:
Our client is a leading General Contractor based in New York City, specializing in high-quality commercial interior projects. With a reputation for delivering exceptional results across a diverse portfolio of commercial spaces, they are looking for a skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage the successful execution of interior construction projects. Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of commercial interior projects, ensuring successful delivery from project initiation to completion.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, architects, and vendors to develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to, and making adjustments as needed to maintain project success.
• Lead, motivate, and manage site teams, including subcontractors and field staff, to ensure seamless communication and project coordination.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure the job site is compliant with OSHA and all other safety regulations.

To be successful in your application, you will possess the following:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial interiors.
• Proven experience with a Contractor on interior commercial projects, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and requirements in this space.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, including project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately.
