Superintendent

Role Overview
Our client is a respected and growing General Contractor with a strong presence across the five boroughs of New York City. Known for delivering high-quality small to mid-sized commercial and residential projects, they are seeking a Superintendent to oversee field operations and ensure timely, safe, and successful project delivery.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Managing day-to-day on-site construction activities and overseeing subcontractor performance.
• Enforcing site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all local building codes and regulations.
• Coordinating scheduling, deliveries, inspections, and materials in alignment with project goals.
• Working closely with project managers to track progress, resolve issues, and keep timelines on target.
• Reviewing and interpreting drawings and specifications to ensure work is completed to standard.
• Communicating clearly with stakeholders including clients, architects, inspectors, and trades.
• Maintaining daily logs, photo documentation, and site reporting.

To be successful in your application, you will possess the following:

• 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent with a general contractor.
• Proven track record of managing commercial or mixed-use projects in NYC.
• Familiarity with DOB regulations, OSHA safety practices, and NYC construction logistics.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project schedules.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• OSHA 30 certification required; additional certifications are a plus.
