Superintendent

Role Overview
Our client is a reputable General Contractor based in New York City, delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. They are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee site operations, ensure work is completed safely and efficiently, and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and project stakeholders.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in the field and enjoys driving projects to successful completion.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Managing day-to-day onsite construction activities.
• Coordinating subcontractors, inspections, and site logistics.
• Enforcing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with NYC DOB regulations.
• Reading plans, executing work per drawings, and resolving field issues.
• Maintaining project schedules, daily logs, and progress reports.
• Leading punch list completion and turnover deliverables.

To be successful in your application, you will possess the following:

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a GC.
• Strong NYC construction knowledge, including trades sequencing and code compliance.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read drawings and proactively solve field issues.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
