Role Overview Our client is seeking an experienced
Service Manager to lead their union HVAC service department. This role oversees technicians, service operations, client relationships, and the delivery of high-quality HVAC maintenance, repairs, and upgrades across NYC.
The ideal candidate has deep technical HVAC expertise, strong leadership experience, and a track record managing union service personnel.
Your main duties will include: - Managing service technicians, dispatching, scheduling, and daily field operations.
- Overseeing preventive maintenance programs, repair estimates, and emergency calls.
- Reviewing service contracts, proposals, and cost tracking.
- Building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Ensuring safety compliance, quality standards, and KPI performance.
- Supporting growth of the service division through new accounts and service offerings.
To be successful, you will possess: - 5+ years of service management or senior-level HVAC field experience.
- Union mechanical/HVAC exposure in NYC.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, controls, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer relations.
