Senior Project Manager

Role Overview
We are partnering with a leading union HVAC contractor in New York City seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee major mechanical projects across commercial, corporate, and mission-critical environments. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving multimillion-dollar project delivery from preconstruction through commissioning.

This position is ideal for a seasoned PM with deep union experience, strong financial acumen, and a proven track record managing large-scale HVAC projects in New York.

Your main duties will include:

• Leading full lifecycle delivery of complex HVAC projects, ensuring schedule, budget, safety, and quality compliance.
• Managing procurement, subcontractor buy-out, contract negotiations, and change management.
• Directing coordination between engineering teams, consultants, trades, and client stakeholders.
• Overseeing project financials, forecasting, cost control, and reporting.
• Driving issue resolution, risk mitigation, and successful job closeout.

To be successful, you will possess:

• 10+ years of HVAC project management experience with union labor.
• Background delivering large mechanical packages on major NYC projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple high-value jobs simultaneously.
• Mastery of financial controls, forecasting, and contractual documentation.
