Role Overview

An established HVAC and mechanical contractor in Nassau County, Long Island, is seeking an experienced Purchaser for an office-based role managing equipment and material procurement across mechanical construction projects.


Key Responsibilities

• Purchase HVAC equipment, materials and mechanical components.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications and equipment schedules.
• Complete equipment buyouts and obtain vendor pricing.
• Track purchase orders, lead times and deliveries.
• Coordinate procurement with Project Managers, manufacturers and suppliers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of HVAC or mechanical construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, specifications and equipment schedules.
• Understanding of procurement for mechanical construction projects.

Compensation & Benefits

• $120,000-$160,000 DOE
