Project Manager (NYC / General Contractor)

Role Overview
ProSource Group is recruiting a Project Manager for a general contractor delivering projects across New York City.

Reporting to a Project Executive, you will manage project delivery and coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and field teams. Your workload may include multiple projects, depending on their size.

This is a fully in-person position, with time split between NYC project sites and the company’s NYC office. The opportunity suits a construction professional with 3–5 years of general contractor experience and the ability to manage schedules, costs, documentation and stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project activities from planning and procurement through construction and closeout.
• Develop and monitor schedules alongside field teams and subcontractors.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, drawing updates and outstanding design information.
• Manage procurement and track materials and long-lead items.
• Monitor budgets, commitments, change orders and project cost reporting.
• Lead project meetings and communicate progress, risks and required decisions.
• Work with Superintendents to support safe, coordinated and high-quality delivery.
• Maintain accurate project records and oversee punch lists and closeout.
• Manage priorities across multiple projects where assigned.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience working for a general contractor.
• Relevant construction project-management experience.
• Ability to read drawings and coordinate subcontractors and project teams.
• Understanding of scheduling, procurement, change orders and cost control.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in person across NYC project sites and the NYC office.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary of $140,000–$150,000, depending on experience.
