Project Manager (Manhattan | Mechanical Contractor)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Project Manager to join a growing mechanical contractor based in Midtown Manhattan.

The role will involve managing commercial HVAC and infrastructure projects from preconstruction through installation, commissioning and closeout.

Projects involve major mechanical systems including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, piping and BMS/controls, with responsibility across technical coordination, procurement, scheduling and project costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage mechanical projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, equipment schedules and contract documents.
• Coordinate chillers, boilers, cooling towers, piping and BMS/controls.
• Manage equipment buyouts, procurement, RFIs, submittals and change orders.
• Track project budgets, forecasts, schedules and equipment deliveries.
• Coordinate field teams, engineers, vendors, subcontractors and clients.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in commercial HVAC/mechanical construction.
• Proven experience managing mechanical construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, piping and BMS/controls.
• Experience with procurement, project costs, scheduling and change orders.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $110k–$140k Depending on Experience
