Project Manager (Fire Protection and Plumbing)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Project Manager to join a specialist subcontractor based in New York City. This position offers the chance to oversee projects across all five boroughs, collaborating with clients, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple trades, budgets, and schedules at once. Experience in plumbing or fire protection is an advantage, though not essential.

Your main duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Leading projects from pre-construction through final completion
• Managing budgets, schedules, and resources to achieve project goals
• Maintaining clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Supervising site activities to ensure safety and quality standards are met
• Preparing reports, documentation, and regular updates for stakeholders
• Assisting with procurement and subcontractor negotiations

To be successful in your application, you will possess the following:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in construction project management
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with plumbing and fire prevention systems (preferred, not required)
