Project Manager

Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join a well-established Long Island-based general contracting and construction management firm. This position offers the opportunity to lead commercial, industrial, and institutional construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience in field and office-based project delivery, with strong organizational skills and a commitment to quality and safety.

Your main duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Overseeing all phases of construction projects from planning through completion
• Coordinating schedules, subcontractors, procurement, and logistics to ensure project milestones are met
• Managing project budgets, change orders, and cost tracking with internal teams and ownership
• Reviewing construction documents, resolving design conflicts, and coordinating RFIs and submittals
• Leading project meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
• Ensuring all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Supporting business development and client relationship management as needed

To be successful in your application, you will possess the following:

• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in ground-up or renovation construction
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and construction trades on active job sites
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and documentation processes
• Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
