HVAC Project Manager

Role Overview
Our client is a well-established and growing HVAC contractor based in Manhattan, NY, recognized for delivering complex mechanical and HVAC construction projects across the five boroughs. With a strong reputation for quality and efficiency, they are seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee high-profile HVAC projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Leading the full project lifecycle of HVAC/mechanical construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality workmanship, and cost control.
• Managing communication between clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to drive successful outcomes.
• Overseeing project schedules, budgets, change orders, and procurement activities.
• Conducting site visits to monitor progress, resolve field issues, and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintaining adherence to NYC DOB regulations, mechanical codes, and all applicable safety standards.
• Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including reports, updates, and forecasts.
• Building and nurturing strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

To be successful in your application, you will possess the following:

• 7+ years of experience in HVAC or mechanical contracting, with proven project management capabilities.
• Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical scopes, and related construction methodologies.
• Experience managing large-scale projects in New York City, including coordination with city agencies and field conditions unique to the five boroughs.
• Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with industry software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
