Role Overview
Our client is a reputable General Contractor based in New York City, delivering high-quality commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects. Known for their collaborative culture and strong client relationships, they are seeking an Estimator with 1+ years of experience to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an up-and-coming estimator looking to grow within a supportive and fast-paced construction environment, working on diverse projects across NYC.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Preparing cost estimates and bid proposals for projects of varying size and scope.
• Performing accurate quantity take-offs and scope reviews.
• Assisting in analyzing plans, specifications, and addenda.
• Soliciting and evaluating subcontractor/vendor pricing.
• Supporting project managers and senior estimators throughout the preconstruction process.
• Maintaining organized estimating records and cost databases.

To be successful in your application, you will possess the following:

• 1+ years of construction estimating experience with a GC or subcontractor.
• Familiarity with NYC construction practices and bid processes.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in estimating or take-off software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
