Assistant Project Manager to support ongoing projects and contribute to their continued success.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious construction professional with early experience to grow into a broader role, gaining exposure to both project management and estimating within a respected high-end residential subcontractor.
Your main duties will include, but not be limited to: - Assisting Project Managers in overseeing day-to-day project operations.
- Coordinating with foremen, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Supporting project documentation, submittals, and change orders.
- Providing input on project budgets, schedules, and progress tracking.
- Exposure to estimation: performing take-offs, assisting with bid preparation, and supporting pricing reviews.
- Ensuring quality control and maintaining high standards of workmanship on-site.
- Attending client and contractor meetings as required.
To be successful in your application, you will possess the following: - 1+ years of construction experience with a GC or subcontractor.
- Background in carpentry preferred, but not essential.
- Exposure to estimation or preconstruction preferred, but not essential.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and construction documents.
- A collaborative, proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is a plus.
