Tax and Law Transformation Project Lead

My client is a leading Accountancy Firm and they are seeking an experienced and results-driven Transformation (Project) Manager to lead key transformation initiatives within our Tax & Law service line in Ireland.

The role focuses on improving operational efficiency, enhancing technological capabilities, and driving strategic change.

The successful candidate will collaborate with leaders, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful projects on time, within scope, and on budget.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of transformation projects for the Tax & Law service line.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, communication strategies, and progress tracking tools.
  • Identify and manage dependencies, risks, and critical paths to ensure project success.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates and ensuring alignment.
  • Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, proactively addressing scope changes and risks.
  • Conduct project reviews to identify lessons learned and improve future initiatives.
  • Establish and refine best practices for project execution and management.
What We Look For
  • Proven experience in project management within professional services, ideally in Tax & Law.
  • Strong understanding of the Tax & Law business, including regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading technology implementation projects.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with process improvement approaches (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Familiarity with technology trends in the Tax & Law sector, such as AI, blockchain, or data analytics.
  • Educational background or professional experience in Tax & Law is a plus.

Additional Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or professional qualifications are a plus).
  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of change management principles and a track record of driving organisational change.
  • Experience with financial modelling and budget management.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate and address challenges effectively.
