Qualified Accountant - Tralee

My client is a dynamic and client-focused accountancy firm based in Tralee. Priding its self on delivering professional services tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients across a range of industries. As the business has grown they are seeking a dedicated and experienced qualified accountant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the preparation and submission of tax returns (Income Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE/PRSI).
• Lead or support audits for a variety of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Provide strategic financial advice, including cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure clients adhere to financial regulations and filing deadlines.
• Work closely with junior staff to oversee workflow and provide mentorship.
• Utilise accounting software like Surf and DEXT to maintain client records.

Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a practice environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Familiarity with accounting and payroll software. Experience with cloud-based systems is an advantage.
