Project Manager | Irish Water Framework

Our client, a leading utilities contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee works on the Irish Water Framework. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of water and wastewater projects under the Irish Water Framework.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure efficient execution.
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with Irish Water specifications, health & safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Act as the main point of contact for Irish Water and other key stakeholders, providing regular updates.
  • Oversee procurement, ensuring materials and resources are managed effectively.
  • Conduct site visits to review progress and resolve any technical or operational challenges.
  • Prepare and present project reports, tracking KPIs and ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management within utilities, water, or civil engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working on Irish Water frameworks is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Full, clean driving licence and flexibility to travel to project sites.
