Electrical Supervisor - Power/ Utilities Contractor

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate all electrical site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Manage on-site electrical teams, including electricians and subcontractors, to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety, addressing any issues that arise.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Review and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to guide the on-site team.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, enforcing safety protocols and conducting risk assessments as needed.
Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, progress updates, and documentation of any incidents or delays.
Provide technical guidance and support to the on-site team, troubleshooting and resolving any electrical issues that arise.
Participate in site meetings, providing updates on electrical progress and any potential risks or concerns.
Oversee the testing and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure they meet project requirements.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Electrical Site Supervisor or in a similar role within the power and utilities sector.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation processes, and industry standards.
Proven ability to lead and manage on-site teams effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations related to electrical work.
