My client is one the countries leading Accountancy Groups, with offices across most major cities.  They have an opening for a Consultant, on their Dublin Financial Services Transfer Pricing Team.

About the role:
You will get the opportunity to work with a range of clients, global financial institutions, providing support advise on all transfer pricing matters. You will Collaborate with international and corporate tax specialists across the EY network.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Client Advisory: Help clients develop, document, and implement transfer pricing policies and strategies.
  • Documentation & Defense: Prepare documents, data files, and models to support transfer pricing policies and assist in defending audits using economic principles.
  • Financial Modeling: Model financial outcomes for cross-border transactions and advise on planning approaches.
  • Agreement Negotiations: Support the negotiation of Advance Pricing Arrangements with Irish Revenue and other tax authorities.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects to ensure efficient, timely delivery.
  • Diverse Teamwork: Work collaboratively within a diverse, multicultural team.
  • Financial Transaction Analysis: Evaluate clients' financial transactions, such as debt capacity, interest rates, and financial guarantees.
  • Investigation & Interviews: Conduct interviews to understand clients’ business functions for accurate transfer pricing.
  • Restructuring Advice: Advise on transfer pricing for business unit restructures, including valuation.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed on industry trends and best practices through team knowledge-sharing sessions
Skills & Experience:
  • Transfer Pricing Expertise: Experience in transfer pricing from either an industry or professional services background; financial services knowledge is a plus.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, able to handle complex information and multiple data sources.
  • Problem-Solver: High interest in tackling complex issues and independently exploring new topics.
  • Effective Communicator: Ability to provide clear, concise recommendations to clients.
  • Inclusive & Collaborative: Embraces diversity and contributes to a respectful, growth-oriented team environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and analytical abilities, with a precise approach.
  • Legal & Contractual Insight: Capable of analysing legal and contractual details to assess business impacts.
  • Commercial Awareness: Understanding of legal, economic, and political factors affecting transfer pricing.
  • Time Management: Skilled in managing time effectively.
