Concrete Foreman - Main Contractor - Cork

ProSource are recruiting a Concrete Foreman on behalf of their client who are renowned Main Building Contractor in Cork. The successful candidate will be  responsible for supervising and coordinating concrete works on site, ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily concrete work activities, including formwork, reinforcement, pouring, finishing, and curing.
• Supervise and direct concrete crews, subcontractors, and equipment
• Coordinate with site engineers, quality inspectors, and other trades to ensure seamless workflow.
• Ensure concrete work is performed according to design drawings, technical specifications, and industry standards.
• Inspect formwork, rebar, and embedded items before pours.
• Monitor concrete placement, compaction, finishing, and curing to prevent defects.
• Maintain daily logs of concrete activities, crew attendance, and equipment use.
• Verify concrete delivery tickets and maintain pour records.
• Report progress, delays, and material shortages to the Site Supervisor or Project Manager.
• Coordinate the delivery, inspection, and storage of concrete materials and related supplies..

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years in concrete construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/foreman role.
