Company Accountant

ProSource Group are excited to be partnered with a Kerry based Engineering company seeking applications for a Financial Controller to join their team.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and analyse management accounts, and cashflow statements.
2. Prepare Tax, Vat and CSO filings.
3. Bank Account management & reconciliation.
4. Month/year end close.
5. Payroll processing.
6. Manage AR and AP functions.
7. Ensure compliance with policy and procedures.
8. Maintain company records and ensure transactions are accurately recorded.
9. Engage with stakeholders internally and externally (Bank/ advisors etc).
10. Maintain accounting software & data accuracy.

Requirements:

1. At least 3 years experience in a similar role.
2. Degree in Accounting or Finance
3. Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA preferred).
4. Strong knowledge of accounting practices and principles.
5. Familiarity with Payroll software.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Team player, with ability to work on own initiative.
8. Strong business acumen and attention to detail.
9. A high level of attention to detail.
10. Strong technical skills.
