BIM/Revit Technician - Kilkenny

ProSource are recruiting for a BIM/Revit Technician to join a building services engineering team in Kilkenny. 

This position is well-suited to someone with solid Revit MEP and AutoCAD capability who enjoys contributing to mechanical and electrical design projects in a collaborative, solutions-focused environment.

Salary: €42,000–€50,000 DOE

The Role

As a BIM/Revit Technician, you will support the delivery of M&E designs across a variety of project types. You will use your expertise in Revit and AutoCAD to produce accurate models, drawings, and technical documentation aligned with project requirements and industry standards. Working alongside engineers and fellow technicians, you’ll help ensure projects are developed and coordinated effectively from early design stages through to completion.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop coordinated BIM MEP models for mechanical and electrical building services.
• Work in line with established BIM standards, templates, and project protocols.
• Implement BIM Execution Plan requirements and follow designated workflow processes.
• Produce high-quality Revit MEP drawings including GAs, sections, and detailed views.
• Carry out clash detection using Revit/Navisworks and prepare associated reports.
• Identify and resolve clashes across MEP disciplines to maintain model integrity.
• Engage with COBie data and integrate MEP site model information.
• Apply efficient CAD practices, including x-ref management.

About You Education & Training

• Recognised BIM qualification.
• Formal Revit MEP training (Certificate or Diploma level).
• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is beneficial but not essential.

Experience

• At least 18 months of experience working as a BIM Technician with Revit MEP.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Background working within multidisciplinary teams of engineers and technicians.

Skills

• Strong communication and collaborative working skills.
• Hands-on experience with Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
• Ability to operate confidently within MEP-oriented BIM environments.

Preferred Candidates Applicants who meet the above criteria and have demonstrable experience within the MEP sector will be prioritised.
